Criminologist, producer, and best-selling author Dr. Scott Bonn is bringing his live show, “Serial Killers with Dr. Scott Bonn,” to theaters across the United States, including Augusta this fall.

The 90-minute event promises to take audiences “inside the minds of some of the world’s most terrifying killers” by drawing on Bonn’s own experiences studying and corresponding with infamous figures such as Dennis Rader (“Bind, Torture, Kill”) and David Berkowitz (“Son of Sam”).

According to a press release about the tour, Bonn will reveal “the insatiable, psychological hungers that drive the likes of Ted Bundy and Jeffrey Dahmer to kill repeatedly with impunity and no remorse.”

Bonn will also explain why most serial killers are psychopaths or sociopaths, how they differ, and how each killer is compelled by a unique fantasy.

Bonn is also known for his work profiling the “Long Island Serial Killer” in 2011, and assessments that matched the alleged perpetrator perfectly.

In addition, Bonn will share how he was able to predict the killer’s psychological and behavioral makeup “with such incredible precision years before his capture,” according to a press release about the tour.

The show will include stories from Bonn’s direct interactions with notorious criminals and concludes with a live Q&A session where the audience can “ask anything they ever wanted to know about serial killers.”

The event is described as “not to be missed,” though organizers caution that the subject matter might not be appropriate for children.

The tour will be at the Miller Theater on Nov. 6. For a full schedule of tour dates and ticket information, CLICK HERE.
