Two of them were rushed to the hospital in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. One of the drivers was also transported to the hospital.

The wrecks happened around 6:54 p.m. Wednesday on Olive Road and Eagles Way, sheriff’s Sgt. William McCarty said in a press release.

Authorities were investigating reports that one person was struck by a car and five others were injured while praying over the first victim. A van reportedly came along and struck the group.
