Aiken County Sheriff’s Office narcotic investigators have arrested an employee of a North Augusta spa for prostitution.
Lin Lizhen, 32, is accused of solicit an undercover SLED Investigator by agreeing to a sex act in exchange for money July 29 at the Travel Bodywork Spa on East Martintown Rd in North Augusta, a press release said.
The arrest comes after complaints were received of employees offering sexual favors to customers in exchange for money, the release says. Investigators used an undercover operative to go inside the business. A search warrant was obtained and investigators located evidence that confirmed the complaints as well as a large quantity of money hidden throughout the business.
The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in this case by the North Augusta Department of Public Safety, and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED). The case remains under investigation.
Authorities say Lizhen has a listed address of Sanford Avenue in Brooklyn, New York.
