SRP Park is set to host the 4th annual HBCU Baseball Classic, presented by Murphy Auto Group, on Sunday, March 23.
The event, which celebrates Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and their baseball programs, will feature a doubleheader between Paine College and Morris College following an exciting CSRA High School Home Run Derby.
The Home Run Derby will kick off the festivities at noon, featuring 10 local high school players in a thrilling three-round competition. The names of the participants will be announced at a later date.
Following the derby, Paine College will host Morris College for a doubleheader, with the first game set to begin at 2 p.m.
SRP Park officials and sponsors are eager to continue growing the annual tradition.
