State Bar of Georgia recognizes Augusta Bar Association

The State Bar of Georgia recently selected the Augusta Bar Association for its Award of Merit.

At the June 9 annual meeting, the lawyer organization recognized the Augusta Bar Association for its “dedication to improving relations among local lawyers and devoting significant hours to serving their communities,” according to a statement.

The Augusta Bar Associational also won the Best New Entry award for entering for an award of merit for the first time within four years.

Former Augusta Circuit Assistant District Attorney Garon Muller serves as president of the Augusta Bar Association. Attorney Stacy Johnson served as Law Day chair.
