Law enforcement agencies are working together to investigate Saturday’s shooting death of a 56-year-old man.
At 11:13 p.m., July 30, Aiken County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the 400 block of Bush Avenue to assist the New Ellenton Police Department with its investigation.
Dyron Lamont Glover, 32, is a suspect in this case, according to an email from Aiken County Sheriff’s Capt. Eric Abdullah.
“Glover is wanted for Murder and Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime and should be considered as armed and dangerous,” the email said.
Witnesses to the shooting “took deputies to the intersection of Stanley Drive and Summit Drive SW where the victim was found inside his truck with what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds to his body,” the email continued.

The victim has been identified as Charles B. Thomas, according to an email from Aiken County Coroner Darryl Ables.
The body will be sent to Newberry for an autopsy.
