An Aiken County teen was killed Friday in a car collision.
At 4:36 p.m., Yazmaine S. Rabon, 19, of Williston, S.C. was driving a 2009 Ford Focus and traveling east on Charleston Highway east of Old Tory Trail in Aiken when her vehicle crossed the center line and hit a westbound 2020 Nissan Rouge head-on, according to emails from Coroner Darryl Ables.
Rabon was pronounced dead on scene from blunt force injuries.
The driver and occupant of the Nissan were transported to the hospital for their injuries.
The Coroner’s Office along with South Carolina Highway Patrol are continuing with the investigation, Ables wrote.
