Columbia County officials have announced two temporary road closures in the Evans Towne Center area on Tuesday, April 8, to ensure safety during the popular Rock Fore! Dough event.
Antebellum Way will be closed to all traffic beginning at 3 p.m. and will remain closed until midnight.
In addition, Evans Town Center Boulevard, from Ronald Reagan Drive to Antebellum Way, will also be closed to thru traffic starting at 3 p.m. and reopening at midnight.

The closures aim to reduce pedestrian and vehicle conflicts as a high volume of foot traffic is anticipated, particularly around Evans Towne Center Park during entry and exit times, according to a press release from Columbia County.
Drivers are urged to remain alert, follow all traffic control devices, and heed any directions from law enforcement officers. Motorists should especially watch for pedestrians, including children who may enter the roadway unexpectedly.
Pedestrians attending the event are encouraged to use marked crosswalks at intersections or mid-block pedestrian crossings unless otherwise directed by law enforcement.
