Texas, Oklahoma State share Haskins Award Invitational Championship

The 2025 Augusta Haskins Award Invitational wrapped up on Sunday with Texas and Oklahoma State being crowned co-champions when both teams finished at 20-under par after three rounds on the par-72, 7,086-yard layout. The #1 ranked Longhorns shot a final round team score of 11-under 277 and the fifth ranked Cowboys posted a closing round of 278.

David Ford (North Carolina), the top ranked player in the nation, and Max Herendeen (Illinois) finished the final round tied at 12 under par for low medalist and competed in a playoff. Ford birdied the first playoff hole to capture the individual competition and earned an exemption into the PGA Tour’s 3M Open. The Haskins is Ford’s fourth title of the season, a UNC record, and the sixth of his career, which ties him for the second-most in Carolina history.

Zach Pollo (Arizona) and Chistian Maas (Texas) both posted 5 under par 67s to tie for low score in Sunday’s final round. 

The Augusta Jaguars hosted the tournament and finished at 15 under par for tenth place.

The Haskins Award Invitational has a rich history with past winners including such notable golfers as Phil Mickelson, Vaughn Taylor, Oliver Wilson, Henrik Norlander, Dustin Johnson and Cameron Young.
