Thanksgiving Day crash in Hephzibah leaves two drivers dead

A multi-car collision on Windsor Spring Road near Willis Foreman Road left two people dead on Thanksgiving Day.

The first driver was pronounced dead at the scene at approximately 4:08 p.m. Thursday, Coroner Mark Bowen said. The second driver, who was transported to Wellstar/MGC Health hospital, was pronounced dead at 6:04 p.m. Thursday.

The deceased drivers have been identified as Nichlos Warren, 76, of Hephzibah, and Kourtney Cain, 34, of Hephzibah.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, and no other details were released.
