The Naked Epicurean Visits Stay. Social

Cornhole game boards meet you on the sidewalk just outside the entrance and invite you to play a round or two. Once you step into the restaurant, the décor and ambiance of Stay will capture your imagination.

If it is your first visit, the staff will happily walk you through the ordering process. At the counter, swipe your credit card and you will receive a wristband. Walk over to the walls lined with multiple taps and grab a glass, pick a libation and pour! The wristband will keep track of the beers you sample. Once you’re finished, return the wristband to the counter and close out your tab.

The colorful, ultra-modern atmosphere at Stay encourages you to linger longer. A wide variety of seating options are available with anything from high top tables to a large comfy sofa. On each table you will find a number and a QR code. To order your food, scan the code with your phone. The menu will appear. Choose your options, pay on your phone and your food will be brought to your table.

We chose to split an order of the Kickin’ Buffalo Chicken Dip as an appetizer. In lieu of beer, my husband and I enjoyed Stay’s incredible mint iced tea. It was a perfect complement to my main entrée, the Stay Summer Salad. This salad is a joyous combination of blueberries, strawberries, candied pecans and feta cheese over spring mix. I added grilled chicken to my order. The raspberry prosecco vinaigrette capped off the perfect meal for a hot summer day. My husband ordered the beef and pork sliders that were delicious.

Once we finished our meal, we took our teas outside to the covered patio where RedFoxWood entertained the many guests who gathered to enjoy their cold brews al fresco. Hailing from Aiken, the trio played a selection of songs including covers of classic rock hits by artists such as The Eagles and Bob Seger. The band’s mellow Americana-drenched sound filled with acoustic guitars and smooth vocals meshed well with the entire Stay aesthetic.
