UPDATE, 7:26 p.m.:
The Aiken County Coroner has released the names of three victims killed in a shooting Sunday afternoon.
Deputies responded to a shooting at 1:22 p.m. Sunday to find three victims were found in the front yard of the residence with gunshot wounds. Two of the victims pronounced dead on the scene were identified as 17-year-old Willie L. Garrett IV and 16-year-old Ivan Perry; the third victim, 16-year-old Cameron Carroll was pronounced dead at Augusta University Medical Center. Autopsies are scheduled for Wednesday morning in Newberry, S.C.
The Coroner’s Office along with the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office are continuing with the investigation.

Aiken County deputies are investigating a Sunday shooting that has left two men dead.
Investigators were called to a home at 226 Wadley Drive in Aiken at 1:30 p.m. Sunday to investigate a report of shots being fired.
Upon arrival, they found three Black males with apparent gunshot wounds. Two of them men were pronounced dead according to an email from Capt. Eric Abdullah of the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office. A third victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Witnesses told deputies the victims were involved in an argument with three Black male suspects, the email said.
“After the shooting, the three suspects drove away in a black Hyundai Elantra or Sonata, a four door sedan,” the email continued. “
The vehicle was last spotted turning onto Edgefield Highway.
The Aiken County Coroner’s office is also assisting with the investigation.
“We are in the early stages of this investigation and community assistance is important to
any investigation. We ask that if anyone has any information that would lead to the identity and
whereabouts of these suspects, we encourage them to contact the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office
at (803) 648-6811. They should be considered as armed and dangerous,” Abdullah’s email said.
