Three males wanted after assault on Grovetown Walmart Employee

The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an assault that took place at the Grovetown Walmart on Wednesday, Sept. 28.

Myles Elliot Woolfolk, 18, was assaulted inside of the customer entrance by two males at the Walmart located at 5010 Steiner Way according to the report from Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.

A third male stood in the background and appeared to record the assault on his phone according to an email from Maj. Steve Morris of the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the report, Woolfolk stated he was approached by three unknown males as he was retrieving shopping carts around 6:30 p.m. After greeting one of the males, Woolfolk said the three proceeded to push and strike him with multiple closed fists to the face.

Woolfolk suffered bruising on the bridge of his nose and a cut on his bottom lip according to the report.  

The suspects fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
