Three women arrested in prostitution sting in Augusta

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Vice Division conducted a prostitution sting operation on Thursday night at multiple locations across Augusta, resulting in three arrests.

According to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, the operation was part of an ongoing effort to address illegal activity in known problem areas throughout the city. During the course of the sting, three women were taken into custody and charged with solicitation or transport for prostitution.

Margareta Martinez, 37, of Augusta, was taken into custody on the 2800 block of Washington Road.

Krystal Sue Jarvis, 29, also of Augusta, was arrested on the 1000 block of Patriots Way.

Angelique Felder, 57, of Augusta, was arrested at the intersection of Twelfth Street and Laney Walker Boulevard. She has previous convictions of cocaine and marijuana possession as well as obstruction.
