Tickets available soon for upcoming shows at Miller Theater

Tickets will be available this week for two upcoming shows at Miller Theater.

Nephew Tommy’s House Party Comedy Jam will be on Friday, Sept. 6, with doors opening at 7 p.m. and the show starting at 8 p.m. The Miller Member ticket pre-sale will begin on Wednesday, July 10 at 10 a.m., and the public ticket sale will start on Friday, July 12 at 10 a.m.

Thomas “Nephew Tommy” Miles is a co-host of the Steve Harvey Morning Show that had more than eight million listeners every day. He is a stand-up comedian and has toured across the country. Miles is the current host of the Black College Quiz Show, which will soon begin its fourth season.

Miles has hosted the Essence Festival in New Orleans for the past seven years, which features acts like Beyonce, Alicia Keys and Kayne West among other prominent Black artists. He has been in several films, including “N-Secure,” “The Heart Specialist,” and “Baggage Claim” and has made a cameo appearance in Tyler Perry’s “Madea’s Halloween.”

A Motown Christmas will be at Miller Theater on Monday, Dec. 2. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the show will start at 7 p.m. The Miller Member ticket pre-sale will begin on Wednesday, July 10 at 10 a.m., and the public ticket sale will start on Friday, July 12 at 10 a.m.

A Motown Christmas will feature past and present members of the Temptations, the Miracles, and the Contours. It is a family-friendly show that combines Motown’s greatest hits with holiday favorites.
