Trending with Signature Mike: Some tricks to make your home look expensive

I have touched on large artwork before. Large art makes a BIG statement and can really give a space an impressive vibe.

A large print wallpaper or mural makes a big statement also. It can make a small space feel larger and a large space more intimate. With the right theme it can make your guests tell you, “job well done!”

Maybe you are more modern.

Considering most rooms are rectangular, a curved upholstered piece can give your room that special touch that makes it feel like an extraordinary design.

Some furniture, like chairs, can become a piece of art, giving your room that something extra that will wow your friends and family, whether you are traditional or modern.

Round or arched mirrors accentuate in such a way that not only do you get depth and reflection, but the shape gives an upscale vibe.

Even in a bathroom you can give your space some wow!

Textured walls can elevate your space. Whether you do an accent wall or the entire room, textured walls, such as a grass cloth, can make your room look like a million bucks.

I love adding texture to a wall with fabric. If added on the focal wall in the room, it can really draw your eye to all of the great folds of the fabric, giving much richness to the space.

Give your bathroom some elements that make it feel like a spa. A teak or bamboo stool, with bath salts and some folded towels, can create a nice calming atmosphere.

Furniture that house, yet disguise your homes electronics can be a big help in giving you a well designed space.

Chandeliers can not only help light your space, but create the whole theme in a room, adding a certain punch that will steal the show!

I hope you enjoyed the images that I found from the vendors that I use to select from for my clients. To find that perfect piece is always fun for me. And if that perfect piece makes a home feel like a mansion to my client, even better!
