Thursday was a slow day for qualifying with only a few people qualifying at the state level and nobody qualifying at the county level.
A familiar name has joined the House of Representatives District 125 race. Kay Turner filed as a Democrat. She previously ran in the special election for District 125.
In the U.S. Congressional District 12 race, Elizabeth “Liz” Johnson has qualified as a Democrat. She’ll joins Daniel Jackson (Dem.) in challenging incumbent Rick Allen (Rep.)
The State Senate District 23 race, Shayna Boston qualified as a Democrat and will challenge incumbent Max Burns (Rep.)
