Two more accused in Arbrie Anthony death

A new indictment naming two additional people has been unsealed this week in the drive-by shootings that left two teens wounded and a little girl dead.

The Richmond County grand jury returned the new indictment back in May, but it remained under seal until Tuesday, June 7, when two men added to the case were taken into custody. The two are Michael Demontrez Tolbert and Michael Anthony Freeman.

Tolbert, Freeman and five others are accused of multiple crimes, including murder, in the Jan. 6 and Jan. 8 drive-by shootings in the Dogwood Terrace public housing complex that left 8-year-old Arbrie Anthony dead.

Also named in the 23-count indictment are Antoine Redfield, 22, Henri Beach, Antionous W. Thomas, 20, Kendariss Brown, 31, and Destiny Rich, 22.
