Two winning lottery tickets were sold in the CSRA last week.

The March 13 Powerball drawing saw a $2 million winner from a ticket that was purchased at the Publix at 5119 Washington Road in Evans.

“The prize increased from $1 million to $2 million with the 2X Power Play option,” said Tandi Reddick, communications director for the Georgia Lottery Corporation.

There was also a $50,000 winner from Augusta in the March 15 Mega Millions drawing. Reddick said the Augusta resident purchased the ticket using the Georgia Lottery app and that the prize was increased from $10,000 to $50,000 with the Megaplier, which was 5X.
