There will be upcoming lane closures in Columbia and Richmond counties.

There will be a lane closure from Bridlewood Trail to Anderson Circle. This will last from Monday, March 11 to Wednesday, March 20 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

There will be a lane closure on the southbound right turn lane on Furys Ferry to Evans to Locks Road. This will last from Tuesday, March 12 to Friday, March 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

These lanes closures are a part of the road widening project for Furys Ferry Road.

In Richmond County, the R.A. Dent Boulevard will be closed from John Wesley Gilbert Drive and Druid Park Avenue for repair work. This will last from Monday, March 11 to Friday, March 15.

Drivers should expect delays and detours, and they should seek an alternate route if possible. If they do drive through the work zone, drivers should slow down, allow extra distance between vehicles, watch for advanced warning signs, obey road crew flaggers, and expect the unexpected. Drivers should allow additional time in their commute.
