Columbia County, in partnership with ER Snell, have announced temporary lane closures at the intersection of Fury’s Ferry Road and North Belair Road starting Monday, July 28.

The closures, necessary for pavement leveling, will take place nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Wednesday, July 30, weather permitting, according to a press release from Columbia County.

Drivers are advised to slow down when approaching the work zone, maintain extra distance between vehicles, and follow road crew flaggers’ instructions.

Motorists should expect potential delays and plan for alternate routes or allow extra time for their commutes, according to a press release from Columbia County. Advanced warning signs will be in place to guide drivers through the area.
