There are several upcoming shows at the Miller Theater in April.
The Rock Orchestra by Candlelight will be on Wednesday, April 17. The doors will open at 7 p.m., and the show will begin at 8 p.m. Tickets range between $62 and $135 and are available now. The show will feature legendary rock and metal music in a 90-minute candlelight concert performed by 14 classically trained musicians.
The Augusta Symphony will play their concert on Saturday, April 20. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and the show will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are free and available now. The Augusta Symphony will play Beethoven V, which is part of their Piedmont Augusta Symphony Series.
The Disney movie, “Up,” will be shown on Sunday, April 21. The doors will open at 3 p.m., and the movie will begin at 4 p.m. Tickets are free and available now.
The Augusta Players will perform Schoolhouse Rock Live! on Tuesday, April 23. The doors will open at 6 p.m., and the show will start at 7 p.m. Tickets are $17.50 and are available now. Schoolhouse Rock Live! is based on the 1970s Saturday morning cartoon series and follows Tom, a nervous teacher, on his first day of teaching.
Ali Siddiq’s comedy show “I Got A Story To Tell” will be on Friday, April 26. The doors will open at 6 p.m., and the show will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are $80, and they are available now. Siddiq is a stand-up comedian from Houston, Texas. He released his comedy special “The Domino Effect” in 2022, which received over ten million views and ranked as one of the top five most watched comedy specials in the past year.
The Junior League of Augusta presents Laurel Canyon III on Saturday, April 27. The doors will open at 7 p.m., and the show will begin at 8 p.m. Tickets range between $35-$80 and are available now. All proceeds will benefit the Junior League of Augusta and its charitable missions. Laurel Canyon III features Brooke Lundy and Friends and Ryan Abel and Friends.
Emo Orchestra featuring Escape the Fate will be on Tuesday, April 30. The doors will open at 7 p.m., and the show will begin at 8 p.m. Tickets range between $50 and $65 and are available now. Emo Orchestra will play beloved emo songs with a full orchestra arrangement. Escape the Fate is the featured guest and will play four songs from their catalog as well as other great hits from the genre.

Steve Earle will perform his concert “Alone Again” on Friday, June 7. The doors will open at 7 p.m., and the show will begin at 8 p.m. Tickets range from $39 and $69 and are available now. Earle has recently been inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and been honored by the Bruce Springsteen Archives and Center for American Music.
Nurse Blake’s comedy show “Shock Advised” will be on Sunday, Sept. 29. The doors will open at 7 p.m., and the show will begin at 8 p.m. Tickets are available now and range from $43.50 to $127. This show is for ages 16+. Nurse Blake will tell comedic stories of his time as a nurse.
