Water pipe bursts at North Columbia Elementary School

A water pipe burst at North Columbia Elementary School on Monday morning.

According to a notice from Columbia County School District, work is being done to restore the water line that burst. It is estimated that water will be restored Monday afternoon.

“School meals will be available. Additionally, students and staff will have access to bottled water as needed and portable restroom facilities are on site. However, we do not expect any disruption to the school day,” said the notice from the school district.
