Parts of the Augusta area reported about a half inch of snow accumulation Jan. 21 according to data from the National Weather Service’s website.
A wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain affected the parts of the area overnight Friday.

A hazardous weather outlook remains on the National Weather Service website through Saturday night with lows expected to drop to 24.
The forecast for Sunday is sunny with a high of about 53 and temperatures falling into the 20s at night.
