What to do this Father’s Day in Augusta: donuts, classic cars and more

Father’s Day is just around the corner, and the Augusta Press has rounded up several celebratory events coming up this weekend. 

Things to do in Augusta for Father’s Day

Victory Baptist Church is hosting a cars and coffee event for Father’s Day this Sunday, with a church service, coffee and classic cars. The event starts at 10:15 a.m. on June 15 at Victory Baptist, located at 620 W Martintown Road in North Augusta. Those with a car they’d like to showcase can contact the church office at (803) 278-2138. 

Fleet Feet Augusta and North Augusta are hosting a Father’s Day run on Saturday, June 14, starting at 8 a.m. The run will take place at Fleet Feet’s North Augusta location. 

From noon to 6 p.m. at Five Star Lanes this Sunday, fathers are invited to enjoy two free games of bowling. 

CSRA Kayak Rentals is hosting a Father’s Day guided paddle to Stallings Island – an island where wild donkeys live – on June 15 at 2:30 p.m. Guests are invited to bring along apples and carrots to feed donkeys from the bank. The paddle will last two hours and reservations can be made through messaging the company’s Facebook page directly. Single kayaks are $40, tandem kayaks are $70 and there is a $10 fee to bring your own kayak. 

Timms-Harley Davidson of Augusta is celebrating Father’s Day weekend on Saturday by providing an assortment of donuts from Bel-Air Donuts from 10 a.m. – noon.
