What you need to know ahead of the 2025 Masters Tournament

It’s almost the first full week of April which means one thing, the Masters Tournament is almost here. 

The 89th Masters Tournament will take place from April 7-13. On Thursday, April 10, honorary starters Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and Tom Watson will hit the first shots to begin the tournament. 

Viewers will be able to watch the tournament on multiple platforms. The tournament will be broadcast live to more than 200 countries and territories, according to a press release from the Masters. U.S. Military members will be able to watch the tournament on the American Forces Network. A full list of networks showing the tournament is available here.

Coverage in the United States will be shown on ESPN on Thursday, April 10 and Friday, April 11 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. For the third and final rounds over the weekend, there will be five additional hours of live coverage on Paramount+ and CBS. Both days the coverage on Paramount+ will be from noon to 2 p.m. and on CBS from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Coverage will be broadcast live on SiriusXM Thursday, April 10 and Friday, April 11 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, April 12 and Sunday, April 13 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Coverage for the Par 3 Contest on Wednesday, April 9 will begin at noon on ESPN + and Disney+ and will air on ESPN from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Leading into the live coverage of the Par 3 Contest and the first two rounds will be Welcome to the Masters, which will air on Wednesday from 1p.m. to 2 p.m. and Thursday and Friday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

New this year is Mornings at the Masters, which will be hosted by Hally Leadbetter and Roger Steele. This show is being co-produced by CBS Sports and the Masters Tournament. Mornings at the Masters will be live Wednesday, April 9 through Sunday, April 13 from 9 a.m. to 9:45 p.m. on the Masters YouTube channel. The show will focus on the cultural and lifestyle elements of the Tournament.

Throughout the week, live streaming of the broadcast, along with featured coverage, scoring, interactive player tracking, video highlights and more can be found on the Masters App and on Masters.com.

The track feature on the tournament’s digital platforms includes the driving range in the practice area. Starting Monday, April 7, users will be able to live and recorded data on every shot from each player during their time on the driving range during the 2025 tournament. The details will include speed, distance, hang time, carry and more.

Taste of the Masters

For those who want to enjoy the food of the Masters, they can order the large hosting kit for the Taste of the Masters. Masters Fantasy

Patrons can create their fantasy group with Masters Fantasy 2025. Participants will pick five players, one from each category: past champs, United States, international, first timers and wild card. After making picks, you can join or create a league and compete for prizes. There is an overall grand prize, overall runner-up, second runner-up and daily prize.
