Wine thief sought in shoplifting at Gas Pro in Grovetown

Columbia County authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying a shoplifting suspect who stole thee bottles of wine from a Gas Pro in Grovetown.

The young man came into the Columbia Road store last Wednesday and took two small bottles from the wine area. He when moved to the front of the aisle and got a third bottle before leaving without paying.

He was with another man at  the time, and both left in a silver Chevrolet, four-door truck. The suspect is described as a white male and was last seen wearing a blue shirt, tan shorts and a gray hat.
