The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that occurred Saturday morning.
According to RCSO, the sheriff’s office responded to a call about a deceased female found on the 500 block of Hines Street. Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen said the coroner’s office was called to the scene and identified the victim as Laquana Lang, 27 years old.
Bowen said Lang was shot at least one time inside the residence. She was pronounced dead at 11:06 a.m. An autopsy has been scheduled.
