Date: September 04, 2025

Authorities are searching for Katrena White, who is wanted in connection with a felony charge of making terroristic threats after allegedly threatening to blow up the Columbia County Courthouse.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office says the incident occurred around 8:38 p.m. on Tuesday at It’s Amazing Hair Supply, located at 1647 Gordon Highway in Augusta. Investigators say White made alarming statements during a rant inside the business, expressing outrage over her son being charged with marijuana possession.

According to witnesses, White told individuals that they “better not go to the courthouse,” referencing the Columbia County Courthouse, and made threats of violence in response to her son’s legal troubles.

A warrant has been issued for White’s arrest on a charge of terroristic threats and acts, a felony under Georgia law.

Authorities say White is known to frequent the area near the 1600 block of Gordon Highway in Richmond County. Anyone who sees her or has information about her whereabouts is urged to contact Investigator Mark Pettite or an on-call investigator at the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office by calling 706-821-1078 or 706-821-1020.
