Aiken County authorities are investigating the discovery of a woman’s body off the side of the road in Salley.
The discovery was made around 1:33 p.m., on Salley Road and Veterans Road in rural Aiken County. A witness called 911 about finding a Caucasian woman who appeared to be deceased, sheriff’s Capt. Eric Abdullah said in a press release.
Aiken County EMS determined that the woman was dead. She was identified as Breanna R. Bell of Columbia, S.C.
Her cause of death is pending toxicology analysis, Coroner Darryl Ables said.
