In their 100th game of the season, the Augusta GreenJackets came out on top on the Charleston RiverDogs 3-1 at SRP Park Aug. 27.
Joey Esteswent more than five innings for the 12th time this year. Augusta held on in the ninth inning for the victory to split the first four games of the series.
The win is just the third of the season for Estes. All three have come on the home turf.
On Friday, he went six-innings and allowed only one run.
The Augusta offense scored the first runs of the night in the third inning. Vaughn Grissomcame to the plate with two outs and two men-on-base.
