A new system can help Georgia property owners monitor their properties for liens, fraudulent recordings or other legal proceedings they need to know about.

Richmond County Clerk of Courts Hattie Holmes Sullivan announced that Richmond County is part of the Filing Activity Notification System, or FANS.

A free program from the Georgia Superior Court Clerks’ Cooperative Authority, FANS allows individual property owners in all Georgia counties to set up email or text notifications for the properties in which they have an interest.

Anyone can go to https://fans.gsccca.org and register for the alerts by adding a name or address. Terms of the service include not using it for research, fraud, harassment, stalking or commercial purposes.
