Club Car is expanding to Appling, the company announced Friday.

The golf cart manufacturer, along with the Development Authority of Columbia County, have disclosed its plans to open a 105,000 square foot facility in White Oak Industrial Park.

“Our team is dedicated to provide the best vehicles and service for our customers,” said Club Car president Mark Wagner. “This new facility gives us the opportunity to extend operations in the United States.”.

The new facility, located near an existing Club Car distribution center that opened in 2019, will be used as additional warehousing space and to support manufacturing functions. Construction is currently underway and is expected to be complete by December of this year.

“Club Car has a long-standing relationship with Columbia County,” said Rick Evans, Chair of the Board of Directors for the Development Authority of Columbia County. “We value the investments that Club Car continues to make to expand and manufacture world class golf carts and utility vehicles in Columbia County.”
