The Columbia County Community and Emergency Services Committee and Public Works and Engineering Services Committee will also meet on July 23.

On the agenda for the PWES Committee is a resolution to amend the tap fee schedule for water utility, which staff is recommending for approval .

“This revision to the tap fees is to formally set residential tap fees for the larger 1.5″ and 2″ meters. We get occasional requests for larger residential meters, and we review these on a case by case basis. Currently, we have almost 170 of these larger residential meters in our system. Formally documenting and adopting a set fee for these taps will standardize how we charge for those requests we get on an occasional basis,” according to the agenda document

On the agenda for the CES Committee is a vehicle allowance for the box office manager II at the Performance Arts Center.

“During the recent budget process, PAC General Manager Josh Small recommended

adding Vehicle Allowance A ($175 per pay period) for Olivia Chalmers, Manager II. This would match the vehicle allowances of the other two Manager II positions at the Performing Arts Center. During the process of approving all the recent pay changes, this request was accidentally omitted,” according to the agenda document

Staff is recommending approval of this item.
