During the week of Mar. 8-14, a total of 209 crimes tracked by The Augusta Press were reported to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
Violent crime included one armed robberies and a total of 74 assaults. Two of those assaults were classified as aggravated assaults, and 26 were classified as family violence.
Property crimes included 13 burglaries, 31 cases of property damages, 13 vehicle break-ins and 68 thefts.
