You know, back in the day we went to a lot of the games. In fact my husband, Andy Kilpatrick went to every single one. Now, the children use the tickets, and we enjoy the comforts of home and the instant replays.
Some of my favorites are still recipes that we made and sold at our location on Washington Road or put in a cooler to ship via the mail order division of the company. For those of you that miss those stops by the Cafe, I hope you will certainly tune in to watch the show but hopefully make a few of these for your Saturday Game Day.

The Deviled Egg recipe will actually be part of my next cookbook coming out in the spring. You can certainly get a great sneak peak at what that book will be like by trying this favorite. Just the Bacon in this recipe is worth a look and certainly a taste test on friends and family. Go the extra mile to put a spin on the presentation.

The Cranberry Chicken Salad in little phyllo shells is a one bite “pop in your mouth” that is perfect for Game Day. If you make a few of those, save some of the chicken salad back to have soup a]nd sandwich on Sunday evening and stay out of the kitchen!
The Sweet Lil BLTs are the all-time favorite of our catering customers and will also be part of the new cookbook. That appetizer is easy to make but is loaded with flavor.

Finally, the Artichoke Gruyere Dip is scrumptious and is great hot or at room temperature. If you make it in a microwavable container, you can reheat if needed. I have sometimes been “sneaky” and not said what was in the dip and even the most die-hard NO ARTICHOKE people seem to really love it!
I had so much fun with this show and also opening up my home to the viewers. Stop by and see me this week on Thursday at 12:30 p.m. Reminder: Football preempts our show on Saturday night so please record the Thursday show so you can watch at your leisure.
