Summer means reshows for The VeryVera Show but also a great time to catch a favorite again to actually see for the first time. With football season preempting our Saturday time slot, many of our regulars miss out on seeing the show. Hopefully this bridges that gap. Can’t wait for you to walk with me down memory lane in my childhood hometown of Macon, Ga. – from Vera

She also held a book signing at Travis Jean Emporium.

This week’s episode doesn’t have any recipes to go along with it because Vera was sampling the tastes of the town and not preparing items from her kitchen.

The show will air at 12:30 p.m., Thursday and 7:30 p.m. Saturday on WJBF.
