T.W. Josey High School’s Lady Eagles hopes for a second consecutive state title were dashed Friday as they lost to Elbert County 56-40 in the Final Four at Georgia State College and University.
The team finished the season 24-6 and 13-1 in league play.
Elbert County advances to the finals at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 10 at the Macon Coliseum.
