Largest disenfranchisement in US history

It is with thunderous applause that democracy is seen slipping through the fingers of citizens. An uneducated populace quickly hands over its rights and freedoms unknowingly to an aggressive power-hungry state.

Democracy hinges on the right to vote. While the United States is not a true democracy but rather a democratic republic, the right to vote is sacred and should not be handled carelessly.

The Democrat Party, which claims to be the party of the oppressed, just disenfranchised everyone of its members with the coronation of Vice President Kamala Harris.

President Joe Biden easily won the Democrat primary. According to multiple national news sources, his campaign raised approximately $180 million. The campaign spent roughly $100 million on securing the primary nomination and general campaign expenses to date. The courts will ultimately decide if Harris can use the unspent funds, even though she has already taken over the camplaign and is spending the money.

Over 14 million people voted for Biden in the primary. They didn’t vote for Harris. In an open vote there is no plausible scenario where Harris wins the Democratic primary.  She just isn’t likeable enough.

Through the voices of a few king makers, Harris will be the candidate without any input from Democrat voters. Democrat leadership is effectively telling those 14 million Biden voters that their vote doesn’t matter, and they know better who should be the nominee.

Imagine the outrage if Trump were to withdraw from the race and announce that Nikki Haley or Ted Cruz was now the nominee. There would be uproar and riots in the streets. Instead, Democrats roll over and allow their vote not to count despite polling suggesting some Democrats would prefer Gov. Gavin Newsome or Michelle Obama as their nominee. Even Hillary Clinton was polling higher than Harris in some national polls.

There is no visible outrage from Democrats. Instead, they are embracing the candidate who was forced upon them just for the sake of having someone to fight against Trump. Perhaps Democrats don’t care that they have been disenfranchised because they know Trump can’t be beat after watching the first presidential debate.

The coronation of Harris by Democrat king makers will result in a loss in November. Had they held another fast primary or left the convention open, a Newsome/Obama ticket could have emerged and would have been unstoppable. Even Trump couldn’t defeat that type of ticket. Instead, Trump will face a candidate who most Democrats are not excited about whom they didn’t select.

Many Democrats will not vote this cycle due to lack of enthusiasm.  The others will go to the polls and vote for a candidate they didn’t choose. They will do so with a lack of understanding that their vote really didn’t matter, and they are nothing more than sheep in the Democrat party machine.

They will cheer and sing praises to their champion all the while being disenfranchised and not even realizing it.
