Parking lot death from natural causes, coroner says

A 70-year-old man died of natural causes Saturday, April 16 in the parking lot of the shopping center at the corner of Washington Road and Fury’s Ferry Road.

The man, whose name has not yet been released, had a heart attack, according to a the Richmond County Coroner’s Office. A Dairy Queen employee who saw the body lying on the parking lot pavement said she thought the victim may have died in his car.

No foul play is suspected.
