Two Columbia County elementary schools reported incidents with students bringing contraband to campus Monday, Jan. 30.

North Harlem Elementary School reported a student brought a “low grade personal protection spray” to school, and Parkway Elementary School reported a student brought a knife to that campus, according to a press release from the school board office.

No threat was made on either campus, according to the press release.

The board office reminded parents to talk with their students about what is and isn’t appropriate to bring to campus.
