The Georgia Cyber Center (GCC) has begun to market the third of five buildings slated for the 17+ acre downtown Augusta campus. Buildings one and two are complete and nearing capacity.
Building three is anticipated to contain approximately 250,000 square feet spanning over ten stories. It will be located adjacent to building two. Several renderings have been supplied to commercial real estate brokers showing the initial design concepts for the building.

Classrooms equipped for virtual training, a 390-seat auditorium and innovation space are all amenities planned for the new building. In addition, the building is expected to have its own coffee shop and parking deck. The building will have controlled access to meet the security demands most government contractors require. Rather than only large suites the building is expected to have a wide range of potential layouts on different floors.
Construction will not begin on building three until specific users commit to occupy the space. Unlike buildings one and two, which were built speculatively with no specific tenants lined up, building three will not go to the state for funding until there are commitments from end users.

While the buildings are in a pre-leasing status designed to attract tenants there will be no formal dates given for state funding or for construction.
Buildings one and two are home to defense contractors such as BAE, Northrop Grumman, Parsons, and Perspecta. Last year the GCC also launched a coworking “Cyber Valley” to provide a community style office ecosystem to fuel innovation and collaboration.
The GCC campus is located on Reynolds Street along the Savannah River in downtown Augusta, GA.
